З 28 січня китайські медіа обмежили “розважальні” телепередачі по всій країні, щоб створити більше можливостей для висвітлення новин щодо епідемії коронавірусу. Це спровокувало обурення населення, яке ховається вдома і тому майже немає способів, як провести своє дозвілля.
Деякі експерти вважають, що епідемія може продовжуватися і до весни. Вже є 6555 підтверджених випадків коронавірусу в Китаї, з них 132 – летальні.
Зупинена практично вся китайська індустрія розваг. 70 тисяч кінотеатрів закрита на невизначений період. Як пише The Hollywood Reporter коронавірус в Китаї може призвести до втрати світовим кінопрокатом 2020 року від 1 до 2 мільярдів доларів.
